About Our Career In The Trades Scholarship Awards

The Altitude Comfort Career In The Trades Awareness Scholarship program was created to promote awareness of the opportunities for both high school and college graduates that exist in the heating and air conditioning, and plumbing trades. From front-line technicians to the many executive and professional positions that are available, the home services industry provides exceptional opportunities. The personal satisfaction and earning potential in our industry remains one of the best kept secrets among those looking for rewarding careers.

Should high school students who want to learn a trade be able to earn credits towards a vocational degree, just as students who plan to go to a college or university can earn credits towards their degree?

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be currently enrolled in a U.S.-based college or university

2 scholarship winners will be chosen based on the quality of their essays

The 2 Scholarship Winners For 2018 Will Be Announced On The Altitude Comfort Heating and Air Facebook page on Friday August 10th, 2018.

Scholarship Awards will be mailed directly to the College or University Financial Aid Office on Wednesday August 15th, 2018 with the student’s name and Student ID# attached. Scholarship funds may be used for tuition, fees, books. supplies, lab fees, lab equipment or tools, and any specific items required by professors in their syllabus.
